It is always so exciting to welcome a new class of Junior Infants to Holy Family school. This years bunch were very excited and happy to start and have been busy with lots of different activities to settle in. We have made new friends, had a tour around the school, looked at our baby photos, practised cutting, colouring, sticking and have been doing lots of singing and dancing. We have explored the season of Autumn, gone for nature walks, painted squirrels, made acorns and hedgehogs and even made an Autumn fruit salad. We have been practising some meditation, have been enjoying PE and have played literacy and numeracy games. We listened to stories in the library and have had plenty of laughs and fun in our first month in school.
