Easter Term Junior Infant News
16th Apr 2026
What a whirlwind of a term this has been with so many days to celebrate including St.Patricks Day, Mother's Day, World Book Day and of course Easter!
Junior Infants investigated signs of Spring and created a wonderful display including bright yellow daffodils and fluffy lambs. We dressed up for World Book Day and listened to stories in the library.
We were 'ag damhsa gach lá' celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge and learned about the history of St.Patrick.
Our Creativity in the Classroom programme with artist Claire Halpin was a big hit as we explored colour-mixing and the parents were invited in to create some Easter Art which is proudly on display in the school.
Of course the Easter Egg Hunt in the school garden was an 'egg-citing' way to end the busy term, its is hard to believe how fast the year is going!
