At craft club, we learned how to do flat needle felting on a piece of felt backing. We chose small pieces of colourful roving wool and placed them on the felt to make simple shapes like hearts, flowers, or animals. Using a felting needle, we gently poked the wool so it stuck into the felt and stayed in place.
Slowly the soft wool became part of the fabric, creating a colourful picture. We enjoyed watching our designs appear as we worked and were proud of the bright artwork we made. 🧶🎨😊
